Transportation Driver Membership
Become a Local Driver Transportation Driver
Drivers provide their own eligible vehicles. There is no paid membership to start — you begin in an initial earnings phase and activate membership with the $49 Starter Pack (the example for both drivers and detailers) once you’ve reached the approved fare threshold.
New Driver — Initial Earnings Phase
Local Driver retains 35% of completed trip fares during the initial phase. You keep the rest.
We track each driver’s cumulative completed trip fares.
The membership threshold is $300 in cumulative completed fares — not $300 in take-home earnings.
Membership Activation
Once you reach $300 in cumulative completed fares, membership begins with the $49 Starter Pack — the example membership for both drivers and detailers.
The date the threshold is reached becomes your billing anniversary.
Final membership terms and payouts are confirmed during onboarding and remain unpublished until approved.
Membership billing stays inactive until final terms are confirmed. Local Driver does not double-count revenue or trigger unapproved payouts. The previous Starter/Pro/Partner tier structure has been removed.
Auto Detailer Membership
Become a Local Driver Auto Detailer
Detailing has its own membership structure, separate from transportation drivers. Detailer commissions, membership price, threshold and payout rules are configurable and remain unpublished until approved.
Initial Phase
Local Driver retains 25% of completed detailing job sales. The detailer keeps the rest.
We track each detailer’s cumulative completed job sales.
The membership threshold is $500 in cumulative completed sales — not $500 in take-home earnings.
Canceled or refunded jobs do not count toward the threshold.
After the $500 Threshold
Membership begins with the $49 Starter Pack — the example membership for both drivers and detailers.
Detailers do not keep 100% of eligible jobs; final commission and payout terms are confirmed during onboarding and remain unpublished until approved.
The threshold date becomes your billing anniversary.
